Official Contest Rules

1. ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes open to all legal residents of the (50) United States and Washington, DC who are 18 years old or older as of October 5, 2008. Employees and their immediate families (spouses, parents, siblings, children and their respective spouses), and household members of each of Cargill Meat Solutions Corporation ("Sponsor"), its respective affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, retailers, promotion and advertising agencies, and any other company involved with the design, production or execution of the sweepstakes are not eligible. Online access and a valid email account are required to enter the Sweepstakes. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, and is void where prohibited by law.

2. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE CHANCES OF WINNING: To enter, visit our website at www.burgerdebate.com and follow the instructions posted (No PO Box addresses, please). Sweepstakes starts on October 5, 2008 at 12:00:01 a.m. Central Daylight Time ("CDT") and ends on November 2, 2008 at 11:59:59 p.m. CDT ("Promotion Period"). Limit one (1) entry per day, per person. Each entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the email account from which the entry originated. Multiple participants are not permitted to share the same email address. Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than one entry per day by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that participant's entries and that participant may be disqualified. The use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification.

3. PRIZES: (1) Grand Prize: A Trip for Two to Washington, DC. Trip Prize Package includes roundtrip coach airfare for winner and one (1) companion from a major airport nearest winner's home to a major Washington, DC area airport, 5 days/4 nights double-occupancy hotel accommodations at a quality Washington, DC hotel, 3-5 sightseeing tours (subject to availability) and $1,000.00 spending money. Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") of prize package is $5,000.00; however, actual value will depend on the cost of airfare and hotel accommodations when prize trip is taken. Meals, beverages, ground transportation, other entertainment and all other expenses are not included, and are the sole responsibility of the winner and companion. Prize trip must be taken within one year of the date awarded. Winner may choose to accept an alternative prize of a $2,500.00 cash payment in lieu of the Trip Package. If prize cannot be accepted in either form, as stated in these Official Rules, prize will be forfeited in its entirety and may be awarded to an alternate winner. Any difference between actual value and stated value of prize will not be awarded. All travel and accommodations are subject to availability, change and certain restrictions, including blackout dates. Winner and companion must travel on the same itinerary and must comply with all security requirements. Once travel documents are issued, neither travel arrangements nor companion may be changed without the approval of Sponsor. Travelers are responsible for all insurance. (2,000) First Prizes: A Burger Debate T-shirt, ARV - $10.00. T-shirt is available in sizes Adult Large and X-Large only. Total ARV for all Sweepstakes prizes is $25,000.00.

4. SWEEPSTAKES DRAWINGS: There will be up to five hundred (500) First Prize winners selected each week, via random drawings, during the Promotion Period. For the purpose of this promotion, a "week" begins on Monday at 12:00:01 a.m. CDT and ends the following Sunday at 11:59:59 p.m. CDT. Weekly drawings will be conducted on Mondays – October 13, October 20, October 27 and November 3, 2008. All entries received by 11:59:59 p.m. CDT on the Sunday preceding each drawing date will be included in that week's drawing, and entries not selected as winners in each weekly drawing will carry-over to the next week's drawing. Limit one prize per person, address or household per drawing. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received as of each drawing's entry deadline. The Grand Prize drawing will be conducted on or about November 3, 2008, and all eligible entries received during the full Promotion Period will be included in the drawing. Potential Grand Prize winner will be notified by phone, mail or email within five (5) days of the drawing. First Prizes will be shipped to winners within approximately four (4) weeks after each drawing, and will be shipped to the physical address provided during entry (No PO Box addresses, please).

5. GENERAL: Promotion void where prohibited by law. By participating, entrants acknowledge and agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and Sweepstakes Administrator, whose decisions with regard to all aspects of the Sweepstakes shall be final and binding. The potential Grand Prize winner will be required to complete, notarize, sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility & Liability/Publicity Release (where legal) as a condition of being named the official Grand Prize winner. The Affidavit must be returned within ten (10) business days of first attempted notification or the prize will be forfeited. Traveling companion of winner will be required to sign a Travel Liability/Publicity Release. If traveling companion is a minor, his/her parent or legal guardian will be required to sign a Travel Consent & Liability/Publicity Release. Winner's companion cannot be changed after the companion's Travel Liability/Publicity Release has been received, without approval by Sponsor. Any tax liability is the responsibility of the winner. Prizes are not exchangeable or transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash, other than as stated in these Official Rules. In the event of unavailability of stated prize, sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. By accepting a prize, winner consents to the use of his/her name and or likeness for advertising/trade purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Furthermore, by acceptance of prize, winner agrees that Sponsor and their respective affiliates and agencies are released of any and all liabilities, and shall be indemnified by the prize winner against any claims, injuries, losses or damages of any kind to persons or properties resulting directly or indirectly from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize awarded in connection with the Sweepstakes.

In the event of a dispute as to any entry, the authorized account holder of the email address used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant. The "authorized account holder" is the natural person assigned an email address by an internet access provider, online service provider, internet service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Sponsor and Administrator are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible or misdirected entries, which will be disqualified. Furthermore, Sponsor and Administrator are not responsible for errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects or delays in operations or transmission of information, in each case whether arising by way of technical or other failures or malfunctions of computer hardware, software, communications devices, or transmission lines or data corruption, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of entry materials, loss or otherwise. Sponsor disclaims any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from participation in, or accessing or downloading information in connection with this Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate or suspend this Sweepstakes as of the time of such action should any computer virus, unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond Sponsor's control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. Entrant understands that the information supplied for registration and entry on the www.burgerdebate.com website may be used for marketing purposes. Any attempt by an individual to deliberately damage or tamper with the website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes is in violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages from any such individual to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution; and disqualification for the Sweepstakes.

6. PRIVACY: Personal information collected from Sweepstakes participants will be used by Sponsor for the purpose of administering the Sweepstakes, and may also be used to provide participants with information relating to products, services and promotions of Sponsor and affiliates of Sponsor. Sponsor will not sell, share or otherwise disclose personal information of participants with third parties, other than to third parties engaged by Sponsor to fulfill the above purposes. 7. DISPUTES: Each participant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with this Sweepstakes, or any prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and any judicial proceeding shall take place in a federal or state court within the State of Kansas; (2) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys' fees; and (3) under no circumstances will a participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and each participant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, any other damages other than actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of participants and the Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Kansas, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions (whether of the State of Kansas or any other jurisdiction) that could cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Kansas.
